Texas Rail Trail  




The Texas Rail Tourism Alliance held its first meeting on November 4, 2000.  The organization was formed to promote railroad-related heritage tourism and established the Texas Rail Trail website and a TRTA brochure to help meet that goal.  Member organizations are encouraged to cross-promote their special events along with railroad tourism as a whole.  Meetings are held quarterly at different locations throughout Texas.

The next Texas Rail Tourism Alliance meeting will be at the Burnet Railfair in Burnet, Texas on June 28, 2008 at 2PM.
